The Black Lion is a family run free house and restaurant, offering a family, fun and comfortable atmosphere in located in the picturesque village of Lynsted.

`The Black Lion has a lovely beer garden, open fires, function room, plenty of parking, a pool table and most importantly a friendly atmosphere.

Our aim is to provide traditional Pub Classics and daily specials which continually change to make use of locally sourced seasonal produce.

The Black Lion Sunday lunch always offers a choice of four meats, fresh vegetables and goose fat roast potatoes. We also offer a homemade vegetarian option and can cater for gluten free and other requirements, just ask us. We strongly advise you book to avoid disappointment.

We serve popular local beers and ales including Goachers. These, along with popular national beers and lagers are kept in excellent condition in our cellar. We have an excellent selection of whiskey and ginal plus we serve quality wines (by the glass as well as by the bottle) at a fair and competitive price.
