A warm welcome awaits you at the newly refurbished Halberd Inn in the heart of Ipswich on Northgate Street.

We offer a great range of world lagers, including Birra Moretti, Heineken, Amstel, Coors Light and Estrella, great tasting ciders from Orchard Thieves to Old Mout and Strongbow Dark Fruits.

You can also try our rotating craft ales, including Laine of which we offer a varying range which is seasonal. We also have a huge range of draught and bottled craft and pride ourselves on our real ales – just ask for a sample of our interesting flavours!

In addition, we have a fantastic range of wines from all around the world, mostly available by the glass. And if you are celebrating a special occasion, we have Romeo and Juliet as well as Laurent Perrier.

There is also an excellent selection of gin, perfectly poured with plenty of ice, fresh fruit and Fever-Tree tonics – just ask our bar staff for their special pairings.

Our kitchen is open six days a week, closed on Monday.
We are open Tuesday to Friday 12om till 3pm and 5pm till 9pm. Saturday 12pmtill 9pm and Sunday 12pm till 6pm. We offer a sports-themed menu with bucket deals and sumptuous handmade burgers.

We host all live sporting events on Sky Sports and BT Sport and have three huge screens outside for your viewing pleasure. All the live sport you can dream of is shown throughout the day, including all the top European and international football matches as well as the Six Nations!
