The Kings Head in Yoxford, Suffolk is a beautiful country pub that lies alongside the A12 along the beautiful English Heritage coastline. 94 miles from London and 25 miles north of Ipswich, the village of Yoxford is surrounded by the parkland of three country houses in an area known as the “Garden of Suffolk”. The village name derives from a ford of the River Yox where oxen could once pass.

The charming, warm atmosphere of the pub lends itself to our newly decorated restaurant area with a cosy fire to warm those winter days. We offer two bars, a large bar just off the restaurant seating area and a Village bar on the other side of the pub.

Fact: The Kings Head, Yoxford was the first non-smoking pub in Suffolk.
