What is your favourite tipple? Take your time to soak up the atmosphere and warm yourself while you choose your lunch from our delicious local menu. Comforting soup and crusty bread fresh from the oven, hearty steak and ale pie with creamy mash and veg, seasonal of course, the choice is all yours. Out for a stroll or walking the Two Moors Way? You will need some sustenance to keep you going – a pint at the end of a walk, or even in the middle is great motivation!  Your muddy boots, dogs and children are all welcome to sit awhile enjoying your meal – and bringing mud is optional! You will love the relaxed atmosphere, variety of drinks and the mouth-watering menu. The fireside chairs are most popular and oh so relaxing – nodding off is not uncommon. You don’t have to eat this time around but if you do feel peckish, your lunchtime choices are available from 12 until 3pm and your evening menu from 6pm until 8.30pm. If you would like food outside these times, please do pick up the phone to ensure that we know when to expect you. The menu includes vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices – just ask if you need further info. The new menu will be published here during the week before we open, so make sure you check back then.
