A country pub in the centre of the village of Arlingham, owned by the villagers and run by Mark and Sally.
The villagers bought the pub in 2013 when it was going to auction and they were afraid they would lose their beloved pub which has its history back to 1782. So within 24 hours they raised the money to purchase the Lion. It now has 100 shareholders!!!
The aim is to make it a perfect local pub for the village serving great beers and food.
We have just 3 rooms but each is individual and has its own quirkiness, each having their own bathroom.
They are competitively priced and include one of Mark’s fabulous breakfasts!!
Ideally situated in the centre of the village and close to the river Severn and the Severn Way as well as the lovely Arlingham walks around the Horseshoe bend.
