Under New Management
Rewind back to the year 2000; after breathing a sigh of relief that the world didn’t end with the “Millennium bug”, life was filled with Britney Spears, Harry Potter, bleached hair and the Atkins diet. Mark was enjoying cooking and Lisa was serving the people of Holywood whilst working for the Carmichael family.
Many happy years later, an Italian wedding and two lovely little boys, Mark and Lisa started a new chapter providing excellent food and service to the people of North Down and beyond.
Our Vision for the future is to revive The Stables to its former glory using the finest ingredients from local fishermen and butchers. Robert Neill has produced a tantalising wine menu to complement our fresh food and we are working with a local craft beer brewery and Copeland Gin to offer you our own take on some amazing beer and cocktails.
We hope to be your place of choice for birthdays, christenings, anniversaries or even a bespoke wedding. We look forward to being a part of the Peninsula community and making many happy memories with you.
