Finalists have been announced for The Grocer’s 2021 edition of the New Product Awards.
It comes after expert judging panels spent three days sampling, discussing and marking a deluge of entrants across three days in London, spanning categories from plant-based ready meals to bakery, booze and biscuits.
The full shortlist of 204 products is online now, and can be viewed online through the awards’ dedicated website.
Each product was subject to rigorous judging from our expert panels, who marked each launch against numerous metrics including taste, texture, value for money and innovation.
They were also asked to consider whether products genuinely brought something new to the category, the sustainability and appropriateness of design and packaging, and whether they met a genuine consumer need.
The winners of this year’s awards will be revealed at a glamorous ceremony at London’s Hilton Bankside on November 16.
